The clear water of the streams, the quiet high mountain lake, listening only to the roar of the water, waiting for the fish to bite and then pulling the line: the dominant watery element in Val di Fassa allows enthusiasts rod, line and bait great satisfaction along the streams. The pleasure of fishing is combined with a unique landscape, crystal clear waters, protected coves and panoramic open spaces. Brown trout, rainbow trout, marmorata or char live in the streams and alpine mirrors. The water courses in the valley used for fishing are the Avisio stream (presence of no-kill areas ), the Pozze lake (1,920 m, San Pellegrino Pass), the Fedaia lake (2,060 m) and the Pezzè lake, between Moena and Soraga.Fishing is open from May 1st to September 30th.
Our mountain house enjoys a privileged position: it is located just 250 meters from the fishing areas along the Avisio stream and 12 km away from Lake Fedaia, which can be easily reached by car in a few minutes.
In the Avisio river, which from the Marmolada runs through the entire Val di Fassa, it is permitted from 1 May to 30 September. Trout fishing is permitted only to license holders, upon acquisition of a daily permit issued by the Val di Fassa Fishermen’s Association (or in the box below in other Trentino areas) . The permit, which costs €18.00, authorizes – for the day of issue – to practice fishing in the Avisio torrent, in the Fedaia lake, in the Pozze lake (S. Pellegrino Pass) and in the Pezzè dam (Soraga), up to a maximum catch of five pieces (complete regulation delivered when purchasing the permit).
