Let me introduce myself: I’m Salvan, I have a very long beard and I live in the Buffaure woods, in Val di Fassa!

The Salvan (also called om dal bosch in Ladin, man from the woods) is a being who lives in the woods, holed up in caves and feeds on herbs and roots. He is a very recurring character in the legends and stories of the Dolomites. It is said that it was the salvans who woven the rays of the moon, giving the Dolomite mountains that pallor that characterizes them. During the summer season, in the village of Pozza di Fassa, the Salvan will be waiting for you for a curious adventure, surrounded by the Dolomites, a Unesco World Heritage Site, where you can indulge yourself among geological gardens, magical paths and enchanted nature.
Our structure is about 10 km from the gondola lift that takes you from Pozza di Fassa to the Buffaure area, and from the Valvacin chairlift where the Kingdom of Salvan is located, over 2,000 meters. Easily reachable by car in less than 15 minutes (free parking next to the Buffaure ski lift), or by bus (bus stop just 50 meters from our structure, free with the Val di Fassa Card).
What are you waiting for? Discover the beautiful Buffaure area and enter the kingdom of Salvan!
