Let me introduce myself: I am the Salvan. I have a very long and live beard in the woods of Buffaure, in Val di Fassa!
The Salvan (also known as om dal bosch in Ladin, a man from the forest) is a being that lives in the woods while hunting in caves and feeding on herbs and roots. He is a very recurrent character in the legends and stories of the Dolomites. It is said that it was the salvans who weaved the rays of the moon, giving the Dolomites that pallor that characterizes them. During the summer season, in the town of Pozza di Fassa, the Salvan will wait for you in a curious adventure, surrounded by the Dolomites, Unesco World Heritage, where you can indulge yourself among geological gardens, magical paths and enchanted nature …

POSITION. Our structure “Cèsa Planber” is about 10 km from the cableway that leads from Pozza to the Buffaure area, and from the “Valvacin” chairlift where the “Kingdom of Salvan” is located. Easily reachable by car in less than 15 minutes (free parking next to the Buffaure ski lift), or by bus (the stop is about 80 meters from our facility).
